The Model 307™ is Weatherby's take on the 700 platform. Development and design were done by the Weatherby engineering and product development teams. We tooled up an outside machine shop to help ensure we can get the volume of Model 307's in the hands of consumers, but Weatherby does some machining and all of the finishing work on the Model 307™. Our QC team checks every action at multiple steps in the manufacturing and assembly process.
We also use USA made rifled barrel blanks and contour, thread, flute, chamber, and finish our barrels right here in Sheridan, WY.
